Day 1
Reception at San Miguel de Tucumán Airport and transfer to hotel. Afternoon City Tour, visiting Independence Plaza, Prehistoric and Archeological Museum, the Post Office, the Government House, the Provincial Museum, Padilla House, home of the Noguez family, (currently the Secretary of Tourism), the Cathedral, the Basilica of The Holy Rosary among other important tourist attractions in the historic area. Lodging.
Day 2
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Lules via Route 38. Visit to the Jesuitic Ruins, Famailla and Acheral, Los Sosa River Gorge; La Angostura Dam. Panoramic visit of Tafi Valley, Mollar, Tafi del Valle with a tour through the village. Guided tour to the local chapel and La Banda Jesuitic Museum. Lunch and departure to Amaicha del Valle, Abra del Infiernillo (Devil's Pass) at 3,042 meters above sea level, Cardones and Ampimpa (Astrophysics Observatory). Arrival. Visit to the crafts shops and Pachamama Museum. Guided tour to the ancient Quilmes tribe city ruins and Museum. Departure to Cafayate. Arrival. Lodging in hotel.
Day 3
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the craft market (tapestries, silverwares, etc) and the Cathedral. Guided visit to a local winery and wine tasting at the premises. Free time. After lunch departure to Salta along the Las Conchas River Gorge. During the tour visitors will pass the areas named The Castles, the Monk, the Frog and Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat). Optional refreshments in Las Cabras Outpost. Visit and partial tour of the Cabra Corral Dam. Arrival to Salta. Lodging.
Day 4
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning walking tour through historic areas of Salta. Afternoon tour to the monument to Güemes, residential areas, San Lorenzo, el Castillo (The Castle), San Bernardo Tower and craft market.
Day 5
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from Salta towards San Salvador de Jujuy. Arrival. Lodging. City tour in San Salvador de Jujuy. Departure to Quebrada de Humahuaca visiting Tumbaya, Purmamarca, Maimará, and Tilcara. (Prov. of Jujuy). Lodging.
Day 6
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to airport.
Salta, walkways, temples and monuments. Bus to the Clouds. Pre-Hispanic settlements stopped in time.
Birdwatching or angling at a private natural reserve.
