Day 1
Reception at Posadas Airport and transfer to Esteros del Iberá. Dinner. Lodging.
Day 2
Breakfast at the hotel. Birdwatching boat excursion to Iberá marshes. Excursion to Cambá Trapo forest. Dinner. Lodging.
Day 3
Breakfast at the hotel. Horse riding through marshes and palm forests. Departure to Posadas. Lodging.
Day 4
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Puerto Iguazu. Visit to the jesuitic ruins of San Ignacio and semi-precious gems mine. Arrival to Iguazu. Lodging.
Day 5
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day excursion to Iguazu Falls, Argentinian side. Walk along Upper and Lower footbridges and to the Devil's Throat Falls. Visit to Tourist Centre and Museum of Natural Sciences. Lower Circuit: Visitors will see, among others, the Dos Hermanas (Two Sisters), Bossetti and Escondido (Hidden) falls, together with San Martin Island and the Union Falls. The route begins along the Upper Circuit footbridges. Visitors will observe a large number of falls. Arrival to "San Martin" viewpoint, from where it is possible to enjoy a general view of the Brazilian falls. Transfer by the Jungle Train to Puerto Canoas. Walk along 1,000 metre footbridges to the "Devil´s Throat", where the Iguazú River shows all its strength and beauty. Return to hotel.
Day 6
Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to Iguazú Falls, Brazilian side. Panoramic view of the Argentinian falls and the Floriano, Deodoro, and Benjamin Falls. Walk along the footbridges over the Santa Maria Falls. Transfer to airport.
Note: For visiting the Esteros del Iberá as far as clothing is concerned, comfortable footwear for walking, preferably trekking shoes or boots; light and warm clothes such as cotton t-shirts, long sleeve shirts and a windbreaker; a sun hat and a water bottle or container, are recommended. You must never forget to wear sun glasses, sun block cream or lotion, and insect repellent.
