Day 1

Arrival to Trelew Airport and transfer to hotel in Puerto Madryn.
Afternoon visit to the Punta Loma Nature Reserve for sea lions watching. Puerto Madryn City tour. Dinner.

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel. Full day excursion around Peninsula Valdés. Visit to Ameghino Center, where visitors will receive information on the geography, flora, fauna and history. The trip will continue to Caleta Valdés or Punta Norte area, the only continental colony of elephant seals in the world. During the trip typical species of the península can be watched (ñandues, foxes, guanacos, maras, eagles). Arrival to Puerto Pirámides, an ideal zone for diving enthusiasts, the area is ideal for viewing austral southern right whales, when they arrive and stay in the area (July to December). Visit to Punta Pirámides, reproductive station for South American sea lions; later onto the San José Gulf arrival to Bird Island, where flamingos, petrels, swans, and sea gulls can be clearly seen. Return to the Puerto Madryn, passing by Aluar (the only aluminum plant in Argentina) and the natural fishing port. Dinner.

Day 3

Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to Punta Tombo Penguin Reserve, one of the biggest colonies of Magellanic penguins, where their reproductive cycle can be observed, according to the season. The colony remains in this place between September and March. Penguins can be watched during the breeding season (approximately 1,000,000). In the lower valley of Chubut River it lies Gaiman, a small picturesque town with a rich Welsh tradition. Traditional Welsh tea to your liking. Dinner.

Day 4

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport.
