Fly-fishing fans are enthralled by a new and very sporty species native to South America: the dorado, known as the "tiger of rivers".
Of a yellow-orange coloring, very strong and with a fighting spirit, this is a species known for its acrobatic jumps when caught.
One of the most appealing elements of this specific offer is the activity's surrounding environment: the mountain rainforests or yungas of the Province of Salta in Argentina northwest, overflowing with subtropical flora and fauna.
Argentine experts themselves comment that they have found an environment where to fly-fish in mountain rivers with crystal clear waters similar to those down in Patagonia, but surrounded by virgin jungle and populated with feisty dorados instead of trout.
The quality of the food, wine, accommodation and hospitality of its people make both fishermen and those accompanying them thoroughly enjoy the program.
