Rods: # 4, # 6
Lines: Floating and Sinking - 2x to 6x Leader (6 to 9 ft)
Wading: Breathable waders are ideal. As for wading shoes a strong type like Battenkill or Simms Freestone boots are recommended since loose pebbles and sand can be found by the rivers.
Flies: 1) Nymphs: Perez Destroyer, Massarta, Black and Brown Stonye Fly, Hare´s Ear, Prince Bead Head; 2) Streamers: Black and Brown Perez Castaño, Black and Brown / Olive Woolly Bugger on 8 to 6 hooks and same color and numbers for Matukas; 3) Dry Flies: Massarta Blue Dun, Royal Coachman, Royal Trude, Adams and Elk Hair Caddis.
Clothing
3-in-1 polar fleece clothing is ideal to wear on changing temperature seasons. Polar pants to wear under waders on cold days, as well as same material caps will come in handy too.
It is also recommended wearing polypropylene underwear, quick-dry shirts, cut-finger gloves and thermal socks (thin or heavy). Bringing a pair of trekking shoes and insect repellent (for Tabanidae, Simulidae and Culex) will be convenient.
