A Mystery in the Clouds. (An adventure destination)
Today the silent, impassive walls of the citadel stand as the only surviving witnesses of the sudden passing of this once powerful people.
Perú - Machu Picchu - Ground services. (Airfare Not Included !!).
Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival at Lima Airport. Reception at airport and regular transportation to 3* Hotel. Lodging. Note: Here in day 1 according time of arrival, you can do Pachacamac Ruins excursion or a city tour round Lima.
Day 2: After breakfast departure to Airport to take flight to Cuzco. Arrival. Transfer to hotel. Breakfast at the Hotel. Mate de Coca drink. In the afternoon 02:00 pm: Regular City Tour to visit, The Cathedral, Templo del Sol / Qoricancha, churches, archaeological areas of Qenqo, The Tambomachay Inca bathroom, the Fortress of Puka Pukara. Return to Cuzco. Lodging.
Day 3: Breakfast. Full day to Sacred Valley. (tuesday-thursday-sunday). Guided tour to Pisac Ruins, Ollantaytambo Fortress, etc. Lodging in Urubamba.
Day 4: Breakfast and trasportation to the train station of Ollantaytambo, to take Vistadome train to Machu Picchu. Arrival to Aguas Calientes at 2000 meter above sea level. Reception by the local tour guide and departure to the bus station to take the bus that will drive you to the ciudadela or village of Machu Picchu. Check in at control center. Time to explore the Plaza Principal, The circular Tower, the Sacred Clock, the Three Windows Temple and the cemetery. Free time to continue the exploration and eat ( lunch not included ). In the afternoon return to hotel in Aguas Calientes. Lodging.
Day 5: Aguas Calientes. Breakfast. Morning at leisure. Option at your own to return to Machu Picchu, take thermal bathroom or make a walking tour to the forest. In the afternoon return by train Vistadome to Cuzco.
Day 6: Cuzco. After breakfast transfer to bus terminal to take the bus to Puno. Arrival and transfer to hotel. Lodging.
Day 7: Puno. Breakfast. Full day excursion to Floating Island of Uros & Taquile - Lake Titicaca - to visit the fishermen and hunters inhabit the floating islands. The residents of the islands use the cattail, a type of rush, which grows in the lake, to create the conditions that ensure the islands stay afloat. The dense roots that the plants develop support the island. In the afternoon return to Puno. Lodging.
Day 8: Breakfast. Morning excursion to Chulpas de Sillustani and transfer to Airport to take flight to Lima and connecting flight.
End of services.
Package include: Lodging in 3* hotels with buffet breakfast.
All the excursions mentioned in the program.
Vistadome pullman train and bus up/down Machu Picchu.
Package Not include: Airfares. Lunch and dinner. Ticket fee to Archaeological or cultural sites ( Cuzco US$ 42, Machu Picchu US$ 40, Cathedral US$ 9, Korikancha US$ 3,5, others US$ 5). Airport taxes.

Additional to Colca Canyon:
Day 9: Arrival at Arequipa at 01:30 pm. Transfer to hotel. Lodging. Rest of the day at leisure to stroll around the city. It is know as the White City because of the many buildings made of sillar, the white volcanic rock that abounds in the area. There you will see the Plaza de Armas, and the beautiful Santa Catalina convent, a franciscan convent built in the mid of the 17th century.
Day 10: Breakfast and departure to Colca Canyon, the journey will pass through Pampa Cañahuas and Arrieros, Pulperas, Callalli, Sibayo and Tuti at 3400 meter above sea level. A pass that offers spectacular views of snow capped volcanoes. In the afternoon arrival at Chivay. Lodging.
Day 11: Colca Canyon. Breakfast. Departure to Cruz del Condor, home to roving herds of Vicuña and a natural observatory for viewing the deepest parts of the Colca Canyon and the flight of the imposing Andean Condor. Return to Chivay and to Arequipa. Transfer to hotel. Lodging.
Day 12: Breakfast. Transfer to Arequipa Airport ready to catch the return flight to Lima.
End of services.

The package includes: 2 night lodging with breakfast at Casa Andina Classic Arequipa. Tour Colca Canyon 2 days / 1 night with lodging at Chivay. Transfer Arequipa and bus from Puno to Cuzco.
