Chañarmuyo Estate is a winery that combines both high technology and the exclusive resources of a unique terroir in its production processes. Its vineyards extend across the Paimán range foot, Chañarmuyo, at 1,720 meters above sea level.

There, the differences of temperature between day and night are considerable, and a gentle breeze blows over the fiercely beautiful, uninhabited landscape.

Wine Interest & Activities

Vineyards: at 1720 meters above sea level, Chañarmuyo Estate vineyards are located at the perfect place, a combination of height, climate (semiarid and dry) and soil (rock, sand and slime). The vines are irrigated artificially i by leak and are protected with nettings against hail. The property is 800 hectares wide, and the white and red grapes plantations are the product of clones of the best origin.

Wine cellar: It is located among the vineyards. It is equipped with French cutting-edge machinery which, due to the proximity to the vineyards, instantly processes the harvested grapes. The selection is done manually. Once crushed, the must arrives to the tanks simply by the effect of gravity. No bombs are employed in this process. The wine cellar has its own bottling line, with a final capacity of 1.500.000 liters. Chañarmuyo Estate is a company model in La Rioja, promoting growth and authentic work for the local communities.
