Mendoza 4 days Wine Tour

Visit this region's important vineyards, and add to your wine tasting tour a cooking class where you'll learn the secrets of Argentine cuisine.

Mendoza has plenty to offer with a rich history, bustling city centers, outdoor cafes and inviting parks.

Day 1 - Mendoza

Your guide will meet you at the airport to take you on a city tour.
After the tour, check-in to your hotel. rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2 - Cooking Class and Wine Tasting

After breakfast, the guide will pick you up from the hotel for a morning wine tasting tour of one of Mendoza's pristine vineyards. In the afternoon, we'll visit another winery where we are joined by an expert Argentine chef who will share secrets about the delicate science and art of pairing a great wine with a great meal. This is an exclusive cooking class where you will learn not only how to prepare a traditional dish, but also the local histories and customs that go behind Argentine cuisine. After lunch spend time enjoying an afternoon visit to another winery. You will quickly come to appreciate the detailed process that goes into making each wine independent and unique.

Day 3 - Trekking or Horseback Riding

Depending on your preference, travelers can choose to traverse the countryside on horseback or take a moderate trekk to Quebrada del Salto waterfalls. The horseback riding tour takes roughly 2 hours around Potrerillos and Cacheuta. This horseback riding trip is designed for beginners. For those interested in exploring the countryside by foot instead, enjoy a 3-hour trekking journey that ventures the mountainous, canyon-filled landscape of Quebrada (Gorge) del Salto. At the gorge's waterfalls, trekkers have the option of taking an 18 meter rappel. In the late afternoon, return to Mendoza city and explore the city at your leisure.

Alternative tour: Lujan de Cuyo wine region

Continue to explore the wineries of the Mendoza valley with a visit to Lujan de Cuyo, one of the most important wine regions in Argentina.
The morning begins visiting the vineyards and sampling the wine at Tapiz Bodega. Next we travel a short 15 minutes southwest of Mendoza to Achaval Ferrer winery to taste the distinct wines of this exclusive vineyard. Finish the tour at Ruca Malen winery and lunch in the shadow of Los Andes mountain range. (Estimated 6-hour tour).

The rate for this option is an additional from usd 55 per person based on 2 or more travelers.

Day 4 - Departure

Transfer to the airport and fly back to Buenos Aires to catch your international flight home or continue your visit to our country.
