Thennat Travel offers you a true immersion into the Spanish language in Mar del Plata.
Spanish Combined Course:
This course offers group and invidual classes. The group classes encourage student interaction and help to improve practical communication skills. The individual classes allow to work on areas the student may feel need extra practice or which are of particular interest to student. Hours/ week: 20 (group) - 10 (individual).
Group Course:
This course includes group Spanish lessons of 2-6 students and focus on conversation practice, sentence structure improvement as well as maintaining fluency throughout dialogues. Hours/ week: 10 or 20.
Spanish Individual Course:
This course is adapted to the specific requirements of the student. It is tailor-made to individual needs and interests, and will progress at just the right speed for the student. Hours/ week: 10 or 20.
Levels: beginners, intermediate and advanced.
Placement test: To ensure that everybody is studying at the right level, all students will take a Placement Test at the language school or at the hotel/hostel they are staying. The test consists of 30 multiple choice questions and a short oral test.
Lesson Materials: Teachers work with Latin America-oriented text books as the core material of the course in combination with other learning elements such as newspapers, songs, literature, cassettes, videos, grammar exercises, etc. Technical devices such as overhead projectors, videos, and other audio-visual materials will be used during classes. Visits to typical locations (for example the market, a school or a hospital) may be arranged for during class and large part of the study material are practical activities and exercises to get the students to understand and speak Spanish almost without noticing.
Certificate: Upon finishing the course students will receive a certificate of participation. Students may seat to take an additional examination at the end of the course. If approved, the level reached will be shown in the form of a grade.
