One of the newest modalities amongst the tourist options offered in Argentina is estancia (ranch) tourism: a rural establishment conveniently conditioned to welcome travellers.
The estancias are scattered all over the Province of Buenos Aires; they are an alternative that offers travellers true peace and contact with nature.
At the estancia visitors enjoy local foods such as asados (barbecues), empanadas, and the wonderful Argentinean wines.
Since many ranches have only few guest rooms, it is advisable that you book your room at least three months in advance.
