DAY 1

Reception and transfer from Salta Airport to hotel. Afternoon city tour. Tour departs from Plaza 9 de Julio to visit the city, its walkways, temples, museums and monuments, the Cathedral, the Church of San Francisco, the City Hall and the Historical Museum of the North. Drive to Mount San Bernardo for a panoramic view of the city, to continue with the Universidad Católica (Catholic University), Vaqueros River, Castellanos River, and San Lorenzo, a summer residence of unmatched beauty. Visit to the Craft Market, a good place to buy silverware or handwoven fabrics. Dinner.

DAY 2

Breakfast at the hotel. Full day excursion. The "Bus to the Clouds" leaves at 08:00 am and returns at 07:00 pm, approximately. The tour starts at the Historic City Hall, it heads to Quijano Farm and it continues along Route 51 to enter the "Portal of the Andes", a zone where the first Andean Mountains can be seen. Stop to see the viaduct "El Toro". The trip continues into the Andes Mountains to the town of Santa Rosa de Tastil. Stop in San Antonio de los Cobres to the viaduct "La Polvorilla", to see this magnificent engineering work at 4,200 mts above sea level. The track of the train to the clouds can be appreciated throughout the entire journey.
The excursion is made on board of a panoramic bus (the roof is made entirely of glass) with capacity for 40 passengers, reclining seats, WC, air conditioning, heating, closed circuit DVD and audio, and oxygen supply. On board service.

DAY 3

Breakfast at the hotel. Full day excursion to visit "Quebrada de Humahuaca" and its Pre-Hispanic settlements, which look as if they had been stopped in time. Departing from Salta, the tour heads towards San Salvador de Jujuy along the cliff road which connects Reyes with the Yala Lagoons. These 12 pools of water are over 2,000 meters above sea level, surrounded by forests of mountain alder and pine. Leaving behind the towns of Yala and El Volcán (The Volcano), from where it is possible to see the "Abra Blanca", "Santuyo" and "El Manzano" Hills, visitors arrive to Tumbaya, where settlements of the Omaguaca Indians lay in the past. Arrival to Purmamarca after passing by the Posta de Hornillo and Maimará, situated in the centre of the Quebrada. Passengers can enjoy the multi-colored mounts that make up this picturesque painter's palette. The trip continues to the north until the arrival to Tilcara, where a tour around the famous Pucará can be made. This is a reconstruction of a Pre-Hispanic Omaguaca village that existed over 900 years ago. On the return, a brief visit to the city of Jujuy, to return to Salta along the cliff route.

DAY 4

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Salta Airport.
