Day 1
Transfer from Jujuy Airport to the Complejo de la Laguna Hotel, located inside the "Potrero de Yala" Provincial Park. It is part of the nucleus of the Las Yungas Biosphere reserve. Afternoon tour along the "Yala" lagoons, four water pools, each one displaying many species of local flora, birds and wildlife. Dinner.
Day 2
Breakfast at the hotel. The trip begins ascending to the breathtaking summit of Mount Laguna at an altitude of 3,500 meters above sea level. Imposing panoramic views can be seen of the "Yala" lagoons, the Jujuy Valley and the provincial capital. The tour winds between birch forests that are slowly replaced by grasslands as the altitude increases. Visitors might have the chance to spot Condors and Tarucas (mountain deer), as well as the Andean Deer, declared natural heritage of Argentina. Dinner.
Day 3
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to airport.
Complejo de La Laguna
Light backpack, comfortable trekking shoes, light and warm clothing, waterproof jacket, sunhat or cap, water bottle, first aid kit, sunscreen, sunglasses, photo camera, binoculars.

The tour departs from the hotel to reach the source of Yala River at Laguna Desaguadero. Birds usually seen in the area are White-winged Coot and Pied-billed Grebe. At Laguna Comedero flocks of Torrent Duck and Great Egret might be watched in season. Afterwards the tour reaches Laguna Noques traversing pine and queñoa woods. A light afternoon lunch and typical mate beverage will be served before returning to the hotel via Laguna Comedero.

The tour departs from the hotel and goes around Laguna Rodeo to enjoy this unpolluted landscape. Visitors reach Abra de Lozano following a gradually ascending trail. From there the lagoons and Quebrada de Lozano might be observed. This scenic views will be in sight during almost the whole remaining time. The tour reaches then the summit of Cerro Laguna. From there visitors can see the beautiful perspective of Jujuy Valley and City. A light precooked lunch will be served before going back to the hotel via Abra Cerro Laguna, where a tea service will be ready for trekkers.
