Day 1
Arrival to El Calafate Airport and transfer to hotel.
Afternoon city tour, which includes a visit to Walichu Caves to see cave paintings made by the hunters that inhabited the area. Tour to the Civic Center along with Nimez Lagoon Nature Reserve.
Visit to the Information Center to learn about the geography, flora, fauna and history of the area.
Day 2
Breakfast. Full day at one of the recent World's Natural Wonders: Perito Moreno Glacier, declared a World Heritage site by the UNESCO. The front walls cracking is a consequence of the increased water pressure from the lateral channels.
Day 3
Breakfast. Full day excursion to El Chalten.
Day 4
Breakfast. In the afternoon visit to "El Galpón", a typical Argentine Estancia (Ranch), to enjoy a welcome tea. Visitors participate in the typical tasks of an Argentine ranch, the shearing of sheep and receive information on the local production, operation and packing of wool. Trekking around the area and a typical dinner with roast lamb on the spit to finish up the day.
Day 5
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport.
